In the afternoon, a lifeguard on an ATV came down and turned around between the two sets of No Pets signs. I can say that the mood struck more than once. When the mood struck, we engaged in intensive 1-on-1 activity. We had enough food and drink to last the entire day. There was a nice breeze, and the water was warm and gentle. Walking for another 10 minutes or so would get you to the gay men’s beach, which includes its own nude section. A few m/f couples and two single men were also nude a little farther down the beach. My husband removed his swimsuit and we spent all day on the beach naked. We set up closer to the second set than to the first. There are now two rows of such signs, separated by about 100 feet. We walked until we came to the No Pets signs. that we were carrying – not a negative word was spoken. Dozens of people were already on the beach, but to the extent that people saw me naked and my husband almost naked as we walked by – given the towels, umbrella, cooler, etc. From there we walked further down the beach for about 5-6 minutes. Then we hopped back in the car and rode to the far left end of the parking lot. But hardly anyone was around at 10:30 AM, so I took a chance. According to the rules, genitals and female nipples are supposed to be covered. My husband put a baggie swimsuit on (a pouch that ties around the base of his genitals), but I stayed naked as we walked to the restrooms at the pavilion. On the way down, I enjoyed some creamy snacks that my husband provided for my morning protein.Īfter paying $25 at the entrance, we parked close to the left of the pavilion. It had been so hot that we were in the habit of going nude at home, so we drove nude to the beach. The Province Lands Bicycle Trail and Beech Forest Trail are nearby.Recently, my husband and I took a day trip to Herring Cove Beach at the tip of Cape Cod. From this location you can see the Province Lands dunes, Race Point Ranger Station, Race Point Beach, the Old Harbor Life-Saving Station, and the Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown. The outdoor decks are open all year, weather-permitting. There are restrooms, an America's National Parks store, and outdoor exhibits and observation decks providing a 360-degree view of the Province Lands dunes, the Outer Beach, and the Atlantic Ocean. Many ranger-guided activities occur or begin at the center. Maps and brochures are available ask about the Junior Ranger and B.A.R.K. Ranger are on duty to assist with trip planning. Films have open captions and assistive listening. The park's award-winning orientation movie, Standing Bold, plays through the day, with other films showing on rotation. Included are 3-D models, large format images, artifacts, video, tactile features, and audio description. ![]() The center's exhibits showcase the nature and history of the Province Lands. This visitor orientation facility is located at the tip of the Cape in Provincetown. The Province Lands Visitor Center is open from May through October. Visitors view dunes and water from Province Lands Visitor Center's observation deck. The visitor center museum emphasizes the cultural themes represented on Cape Cod, including the First People-the Wampanoag European settlement culture fishing, life-saving, and lighthouses communication technology and tourism. There are expansive views of the Salt Pond and Nauset Marsh from the lobby. In the visitor center lobby, a large map shows Cape Cod's glacial history, its position in the Gulf of Maine, and natural forces that continue to shape it. ![]() 25 mile multi-sensory trail that features a guide rope and text panels printed in large lettering and Braille, as well as discovery activities for children. Nearby are the popular 1.5 mile Nauset Marsh Trail, the Nauset Bicycle Trail, and the Buttonbush Trail, a.
